At the end of 2015, the Paris Agreement was officially adopted, becoming a new legally binding agreement on global greenhouse gas reduction after the Kyoto Protocol. In September 2020, President Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at the general debate of the 75th United Nations General Assembly, making it clear that he would strive to peak carbon emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060.


As a listed company in the field of medicine and health, the Group pays attention to the impact of climate change on human health, actively identifies the risks and opportunities that climate change brings to the company's operations, and also identifies the impact on the climate and environment during its own operations. In 2021, we refer to the recommendations of the Financial Stability Board (FSB) Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), from governance and structure, strategy formulation, hierarchical management, and goals and objectives. Performance is formulated at four levels, a climate change management system is built, risks and opportunities related to climate change are identified, and management is continuously improved accordingly to minimize the carbon footprint generated by operating activities.


In 2023, the Group will actively identify the factors that may be caused by climate change. In response to extreme weather that may lead to the suspension of production of some member companies, investment losses, personal injuries and other issues, the Group will establish an emergency response mechanism, form an extreme weather emergency response plan, purchase emergency supplies, and establish Emergency rescue response team ensures the mobilization of internal and external resources during extreme weather. At the same time, we identify safety risks that may be caused by extreme weather, implement hidden danger management, and reduce safety and environmental protection risks caused by extreme weather.
